Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the only daughter from Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into showbiz early and landed up performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was both critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra is involved in many important projects both locally and internationally. A few of them include the British biographical film Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and the French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was a member of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
